The big mistake that politicians continue to make–which proves disastrous to the republic–is to assume that since the Constitution is a secular document, that is is absent a religious theme.
In my every intuition as to the nature and purpose of my beloved country, lies the idea that America has a great and Godly ambition, and central to that Godly purpose is the eternal and immutable principle of human liberty.
