President Obama has made good on his pledge to bankrupt the coal industry. And don’t expect his administration’s like-minded allies’ war on fossil fuel carnage to end there.
As a nation, the United States reduced its carbon emissions by 2 percent from last year. Over the past 14 years, our carbon emissions are down more than 10 percent. On a per-unit-of-GDP basis, U.S. carbon emissions are down by closer to 20 percent.
What the governor is saying is that regardless of what the U.S. Supreme Court says or does, he is going to implement the EPA’s plan.
According to the international disaster database, climate-related deaths are down 98 percent over the past 80 years.

In 2015, two years following the state’s legalization of recreational marijuana, there is a surprising clash emerging between the marijuana industry and environmental concerns.
“Publicly singling out specific researchers based on perspectives they have expressed and implying a failure to appropriately disclose funding sources sends a chilling message to all academic researchers,” the group wrote.
