SHAKEN AND STIRRED
Sometimes you go through a phase of life when you feel discontent, restless, a little anxious. I am going through such a phase and it is driving me…driving me out of bed almost every morning at 5:00, driving me to attend rallies and to volunteer for candidates, to do what ever I can for the Party of Reagan (qualified GOP). I follow this drive despite the facts that I work full-time, am a graduate student and still have children in my home to whom I am devoted. I have accepted the feeling of being troubled, shaken, and yes, stirred, despite the Bond preference. I am shaken as I watch the tenuous cords of liberty unravel as Americans look on, awestruck and unbelieving. But I am stirred to act. We are actors in the most critical scenes of American history, here and now. We must act first, before we are acted upon my the forces of oppression, tyranny and bondage. We must be willing to sacrifice our complacency and comfort, our demure reputations and our time on the altar of liberty. Join me as I act. Spread the message that “Freedom is Never Free”, and that it is up to our generation (the generation that screwed things up in the first place) to sacrifice all that is required so that our children don’t land a lead role in a cage. Take action in behalf of conservative candidates. It doesn’t matter how much you do, just that you do it.
