Democrats, Rape, and the War on Women
Colorado Democrat Representative, Joe Salazar, made comments yesterday during chamber testimony that discounted the danger of rape to women on college campuses. During an incoherent litany that included phrases like, “you don’t know who you’re gonna be shootin’ at,” and “you might pop a round at somebody,” he argued against the current Colorado laws which allow for concealed carry on most state university and college campuses. Instead of armed protection for law-abiding college students, he suggested that, “whistles,” “call boxes,” and “safe zones” will protect women from rape. He then topped off his crap cake with the unbelievably sexist remark, “And you don’t know if you feel like you’re gonna be raped, or if you feel like someone’s been following you around or if you feel like you’re in trouble when you may actually not be, that you pop out that gun and you pop … pop a round at somebody.”
Salazar was arguing in behalf of HB 1226 [PDF] which would repeal the right of Colorado college students and professors who have concealed carry permits to protect themselves while on campus. In spite of the fact that the current laws have been successful in keeping campus gun violence at zero, Salazar railed against gun rights, targeting specifically young women who rightfully fear being raped or mugged–which is a heck of a lot more common at American colleges than gun violence. Representative Salazar failed to mention that the University of Colorado once resisted the recent law that allows concealed carry by qualified students. The Boulder campus, however, has seen a drop in incidents of crime–and rape–since the law was passed. Repealing Colorado’s Campus Concealed Carry laws is like putting “Open Rape, Mugging, and Mass Killing Season” signs on the gates of our colleges and universities.
Righteous indignation exploded among Conservatives on the Internet. I’m still checking around to see if those on the Left got their panties in a wad over this overtly sexist, insensitive, boorish declamation on why women should run to a ‘safe zone’ instead of ‘pop a round at someone’ when they’re being raped, and have found little indication of Liberal ire. Representative Salazar did, however, “apologize” for the remarks explaining how, for years, he has defended and fought for the rights of the women of Colorado. Bulls***, I say!
The Democrats are the party of rape. Remember Occupy Wall Street and reports of sexual attacks within the encampments? Remember how the organizers told the press that they had protocols to deal with the attacks and that it wasn’t necessary to call law enforcement? Remember the ‘rape tents’ set up so that women could have a ‘safe zone’ to run to and segregate themselves from the men? And, not to strain your brains too much, but remember what members of what party embraced the Occupy Movement saying “God bless them?”
Stand back for a minute and look at this through the prism of common sense. In these two instances I’ve produced evidence that Democrats are enablers of rape through lawless anti-American movements like Occupy, and by prohibiting vulnerable young college students from arming themselves for self-defense. Step back even further and look at the cultural and moral rape of a society and its women from the time the era of ‘free love,’ and ‘sex, drugs and rock and roll’ made women the throw-away playthings of a generation of boys who would never mature into men. Democrats define the war on women as requiring individuals to pay for their own contraception. Conservatives must now be clear that the Democrat war on women is very real, very dangerous, and consists of violent acts such as rape, abortion, and the assault on motherhood.
When no-fault divorce became the law of the land, marriage became a convenience–a sexual and financial transaction–and lost its stature as the bedrock institution of civilization. When Roe vs Wade was passed in 1973, sex became a sport, babies became an expendable liability, and the virtue of women became an antiquated hurdle to self-fulfillment. When same-sex marriage was accepted into Western culture, gender identity became fluid, the God-given responsibilities of men and women lost their meaning, and the role of the family to protect and instruct the rising generations in the basics of temporal and spiritual survival, was replaced with nebulous compositions that deny our very nature as sons and daughters of Deity. This timeline of history and its effects are undeniable. It is also undeniable that the Democrat Party–not all individual Democrats necessarily–have propelled every policy that has brought on the destruction of men as fathers and husbands, women as mothers and wives, and the healthy, balanced, and God-fearing nuclear family.
Liberal Democrats have no respect for the God-given identity and roles of women. To Democrats, women are victims, to be victimized by sexual promiscuity, and destructive tax and social policies, and then held up to society as a justification for even bigger government and more programs to help them in their poverty and unwed motherhood. Democrats like Joe Salazar illustrate this perfectly.
On more than one occasion I have been told by Liberal men that they claim that label because Democrat women are ‘easy.’ Given that the Democrat Party is the party of free contraceptives, abortion on demand, sex without boundaries, gay-marriage, and the general rejection of God and His Commandments, I would have to agree. Women, if you have any respect for your virtue, life, liberty and dignity, stay away from Democrats.
