Let me tell you something about Mitt Romney. Mitt has traveled a continuum from center Left to the center Right from which he now campaigns. Many don’t trust him when he avers that his once pro-choice stance has been discarded for one which is firmly pro-life. But I trust Mitt on this one, and I’ll tell you why in two words: MORMON GUILT.
The bright line between the Evil Democrat Party and the Stupid Republican Party is morality. That line neither holds ground, nor sway with the undecided and independent voters if, instead of being a gleaming and shiny rod of hard steel, it is a limp linguine noodle lifted off of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s tie and dropped carelessly in the political mud.
The Barbary pirates have been harrassing American merchant ships since the 1780s. Until the US took military action, America’s response was always to appease them and to pay them the ransom they demanded. Weakness provoked aggression. Barbary pirates understood that they could push American merchants and politicians around; that they could demand anything, perpetrate any aggression, and America’s response would be appeasement and ransom payment.
These people are wholly idiotic; a brainwashed pair of stringy Leftists searching for the bliss of a non-judgmental Utopia by exacting the pernicious deconstruction of their little boy.

Defense spending is NOT a Big Government program, nor is it anyone’s pet project, nor a contravention of the Limited Government Principle. On the contrary, according to conservative ideology, defense is a Constitutionally legitimate government function and indeed the #1 Constiutional DUTY of the federal government.
The big mistake that politicians continue to make–which proves disastrous to the republic–is to assume that since the Constitution is a secular document, that is is absent a religious theme.
In a story not for the ______ (squeamish, Republican, agrizoophobic) it was reported that an explosion in the ______ (Ron Paul supporter, jock sniffer, rat) population has occurred alongside the ______ (regurgitate, Occupy, bankrupt) Washington D.C. movement.
Obama’s indefensible defense cuts may become an issue in the 2012 presidential election. If that happens, defense will play a role in the presidential campaign for the first time since 2000.
Robert E. Lee stated that “It is well that war is so terrible — lest we should grow too fond of it.” It is a good thing that war is ugly. The sanitized and tentative war fought, not to win a decisive victory, but to minimize civilian casualties, is also the protracted, expensive, bloody, destructive, futile war.
